Palestine in America Inc NFP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating print and digital magazines that highlight Palestinians in the Unites States. We also pride ourselves on being a platform for Palestinian journalists to jumpstart their careers.

UNRWA USA National Committee is hosting its second annual Gaza 5k in Chicago on April 29. Palestine in America has created a team and is asking friends, family and supporters to join or donate.

Participants can register before April 12 for an early bird discount. Registration will close at 5pm on April 26 and there will be no onsite registration.

This year, proceeds from the Gaza 5k will benefit the UNRWA’s Community Mental Health Program. The program provides psychological support to Palestinian refugee children in Gaza suffering from trauma due to repeated Israeli military assaults and the continued blockade.

UNRWA is a nonprofit organization that delivers direct humanitarian aid and human development to over 5 million Palestinian refugees living in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
