Nick Lachey, former member of 98 Degrees and celebrity judge on ‘Alter Ego’ called Mama Yaya’s performance “Phenomenal,” but it wasn’t enough to advance the Palestinian and Jewish singer to the final rounds of Alter Ego.

After losing by a mere four audience votes, Mama Yaya joined Palestine in America’s podcast to discuss the experience of being on ‘Alter Ego’, how it compared to being on ‘American Idol,’ growing up in a Palestinian and Jewish household and she broke the news that she is planning a tour!
