The United States has begun to enforce a long dormant policy which requires that all products sourced from occupied territories in Palestine be labeled as “West Bank” and or “Gaza Strip,” according to a message released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Jan. 23.

Earlier this month, U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, criticized Israel’s settlement policies and suggested Israel employs “two standards” of law in the West Bank, during his speech at the ninth annual International Conference of the Institute of National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

A memorandum released by Palestine Legal, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and the New York branch of the National Lawyers Guild, opposes two anti-boycott bills currently in the New York state legislature.

Last Friday, a groups of protesters at the Creating Change Conference in Chicago called for the organizers and the National LGBTQ Task Force to be accountable following their decision to allow a reception sponsored by a Zionist organization—A Wider Bridge.

United States Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) received a $960,250 donation from a pro-Israel advocacy group, then spearheaded the signing of an open letter written in opposition of the Iran deal. The payoff has raised allegations that the senator was bribed to sabotage the deal.
