2017 Protest Against AIPAC

This year’s protest against the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was marked by two rallies, one organized by the Jewish-Americans against settlements group “IfNotNow” and the other organized by Abbas Hamideh of Al-Awda, the Palestine Right To Return Coalition which was co-sponsored by ANSWER Coalition. Both protests ended in front of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, where the AIPAC conference is held.

The US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, formerly US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, is hosting its fifteenth annual national conference in Arlington, Virginia, “Which Side Are You On? Taking a Stand for Palestinian Rights.” The conference gives attendees an opportunity to gather and strategize about strengthening the struggle for freedom, justice, and equality in Palestine.

SJP chapters commend Movement for Black Lives for pro-Palestine platform

Chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) from across the United States, under the banner of the National SJP (NSJP) network, released a statement last week expressing solidarity with and gratitude towards the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) for including in its recent policy platform strong language in favor of Palestinian rights and against U.S. complicity in Israeli apartheid.
